ISLAMABAD A delegation led by Iranian Interior Minister, Mustafa Mohammad Najjar, Friday called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik and discussed the border related issues. During the meeting, both countries decided to enhance the number of security personnel at borders to curb cross border terrorist movement and establish a joint monitoring system to avoid any criminal activity on and across the border. Iran also demanded strict action against the extremist elements involved in terrorist activities in Iran. Earlier talking to media men at airport, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that he had told the Iranian government that Abdul Malik Rigi was not in Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is committed to eliminate terrorism and it was imperative that Pakistan and Iran worked in harmony for peace in the region and that Pakistan would never allow its territory for any terrorist activity against Iran or any other country.
