LAHORE – The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE) Lahore President Salim Ghauri has shown concerns over growing corruption in gas distribution mechanism, saying that the strong lobbies of stakeholders are challenging the writ of the government. Referring to the media reports about protection of politicians to the bulk gas users, he said that this situation is pushing the economy to pay through the nose the price of malpractices of corrupt mafias, both among the bulk users and the policymakers. It is because of the rampant corruption that a dog fight was on amongst the powerful stakeholders of gas consumption, he added, says a press release.
