LAHORE – TheNation Editor-in-Chief Majid Nizami said on Tuesday in an exclusive interview with Vice Media’s Shane Smith for international channel HBO that the illegal Indian occupation of Kashmir was the real bone of contention between the two neighbouring countries.

“Considering that India has blocked Pakistan’s water and tried to make the country barren, relationship with it cannot be promoted at any cost,” Nizami held. He added that without freeing the Held Kashmir from Indian clutches, Pakistan could not survive.

Nizami, however, stressed said that Pakistan should go to any extent to resolve the Kashmir dispute with India.
