LAHORE – The Pakistan Railways on Monday decided to cancel the operation of different trains on the Eid Day (Saturday), as well as on next Monday and Tuesday, because of shortage of passengers.

The passengers of the cancelled trains would be shifted to Tezgam (7 Up / 8 Down) and Karakoram Express (41 Up / 42 Down), said a Railways spokesperson. The trains that have been cancelled for October 27 (Saturday) include Subk Raftar (101 Up / 104 Down), Subk Kharam (103 Up / 102 Down), Allama Iqbal Express (9 Up / 10 Down), Millat Express (17 Up / 18 Down), Karachi Express (15 Up / 16 Down), Farid Express (37 Up / 38 Down), Awami Express (13 Up / 14 Down).
