Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has become a symbol of global identity of Pakistan, reported by Radio Pakistan. 

He was speaking at a seminar "CPEC Five Years: A Story of Success and Opportunities", organized by Sustainable Development Policy Institute in Islamabad today.

The Minister said CPEC highlighted Pakistan's positive image across the world.

He said a number of world countries are keen to enter into a partnership with Pakistan.

Ahsan Iqbal said peace and stability are vital to reap benefits of this gigantic initiative.

The Minister for Planning said the Government has also launched the Productity, Quality and Innovation (PQI) initiative to make Pakistan globally competitive.
