QUETTA - At least five people, including a woman, were killed and another was wounded in two firing incidents in Bhaag Nari and Naseerabad, on Saturday.

According to sources, four people were killed after an armed clash between two groups over a land dispute in Bhaag Nari area. The sources said two opponent groups had set up bunkers, targeting each other’s positions with sophisticated weapons.   The local administration moved the bodies to hospital where three of them were identified as Imdad Ali, Muhammad Nawaz and Barkat Ali while the identity of the fourth deceased could not be ascertained.

In the other incident, a man allegedly killed his mother and wounded his sister in Naseerabad. One Sangar Khan shot his mother dead and wounded his sister in Gott Muhammad Qasim of Naseerabad. The accused fled after committing the crime. The dead and the injured were shifted to hospital.

NATO TANKER ATTACKED IN KHUZDAR: Unidentified armed men attacked the tankers carrying fuel for Nato forces in Afghanistan in Wadh area of Khuzdar district on Saturday.

According to Levies, two containers were passing through Wadh area when armed men attacked them with sophisticated weapons. As a result, bullets hit the tanker and fuel spilled on the road. However, no loss of life was reported in the attack.

The tankers were heading towards Kandahar from Karachi. The attackers fled after committing the crime.

The local administration rushed to the site after the incident and started raids to track down the attackers.
