LAHORE - Pakistan team must go with a match plan in the opening match of the much-anticipated and crucial Twenty20 international to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore against the arch-rivals India on Tuesday (today) if they want victory in the shorter format game.

They should play their natural and should not bow to the match pressure that is always in the matches between the two neighbouring countries. The cricket pundits termed the series between the arch-rivals bigger than Ashes.

It is good luck for Pakistan that Indians are struggling presently as they lost Test series against England 2-1 after the lapse of 28 years. Pakistan pacers have to play their role for providing earlier breakthrough and help spinners to do the rest.

Pakistani bowlers have to bowl according to their potential and if they succeed there is no reason that Pakistan can pull out win in the opener. Bowlers have to go heart-out to wreck Indian batting to keep them to a low total.

Pakistan batsmen must feel their responsibility and play according to their potential to help team off to flying start in the opening Twenty20 international to put pressure on Indian in the remaining matches of the series.

Shahid Afridi must play according to his potential for which he famous 'Boom Boom' if he delivers for Pakistan then he can be retained for the One-day international series otherwise that may prove nightmare for him and ends his career on sad note.

Umar Akmal, having immense potential but failed to deliver for Pakistan that costs him the Test spot from the national squad. It will be a testing time for him for prove his credentials otherwise he might lose his place from the all formats of the game teams.

India have many match-winner in their rank including Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina while off-spinner Ashwin who on his day can also take away the match from the opposition.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Twenty20 skipper Hafeez said, "This is a fresh start between the two cricketing nations and I am sure we will be playing Tests in near future," he said.

Hafeez told the team-mates that enjoy the game and forget the pressure. They are here to play good cricket and enjoy ourselves," Hafeez reportedly said.

That's quite a brave thing for any captain to say ahead of any India-Pakistan contest. Of course, he would want to win games for his country as keenly as anyone from either side, but taking that undue pressure of the equation is smart captaincy.

"I will try to keep pressure away and would also tell my boys not to think about it and just enjoy themselves and play freely."  The skipper also hoped that this short series will lead to a full-fledged rubber between the two nations.

Hafeez said Pakistan is here to play good cricket and winning and losing doesn't make any difference to his side. "We wish cricket returns to Pakistan soon and some of our youngsters get a chance to play in front of home.

Now time will tell who becomes victor of the match and the series as well. But now it depends on Pakistani team management and tour committee to select proper team for the match that leave impression during the match and score victory against India.
