LAHORE – Pakistan Army and Islamabad Jinns Rugby Club registered victories in the Servis Tyre 15 Side Premier Rugby League Championship here on Sunday.

In the first match of the day, Pakistan Army defeated Lahore Rugby Football Club (LRFC) by 12-8. At the end of the first half, LRFC took the 3-0 lead against Army while in the second half, soldiers kept their nerves and played some fast rugby as Tahir scored two tries finishing the match 12-8. In the second match, Islamabad Jinns crushed DHA Rugby Club 46-0. In the first half, DHA boys showed some resistant against Jinns but in the second half, Jinns played very aggressive game and won the match with a big margin of 46-0.  Kashif Khawaja scored two tries while Murtaza, Bilal, Tahir, Sahir, Hammad and Yahaha batthi scored one try each for Jinns.

PRU secretary Arif Saeed and Maj Gen M Ashraf were the chief guests of the day.
