HAFIZABAD/SIALKOT/ARIFWALA - At least six persons including a policeman were killed and six others injured in separate mishaps occurred over the past 24 hours.

According to detail, three persons including a minor were killed while five others injured in three separate incidents occurred in different areas here on Sunday.

According to Rescue sources, wall of the house of Nazir Ahmad in Nauthen area was collapsed during rain. Resultantly two-year-old Kashaan Raza, seven-year-old Noman, 16-year-old Lubna nad 40-year-old Kausar were buried under the debris.

Rescue-1122 rushed to the spot and pulled them out from under the debris and by the time two-year-old Kashaan Raza succumbed to his injuries while other injured were rushed to the hospital.

In another incident 22-year-old Tasawar, son of Mushtaq was killed during aerial firing during a wedding ceremony in Chak Diwana. According to deceased father, his son was shot dead by his relative Qamaruz Zaman over a family feud. Accordingly the Kaleke Police have arrested the accused along with firearms.

Meanwhile, the dead body of 55-year-old village worker Muhammad Ashraf was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house in village Chak Diwan. The police have sent the dead body to DHQ hospital for autopsy. However, the deceased son Ansar Ali has alleged that his father-in-law has throttled him to death. The police have registered a case and are investigating.

In SIALKOT, a man and his wife died while another member of the family injured in a roof of their house collapse here late the other night.

Rescue sources said that the roof of the dilapidated house collapsed due to the recent spell of rains in the outskirts here. Resultantly, the couple asleep in the house died while another member of the family sustained injuries. The bodies and the injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital

Similarly in ARIFWALA, a policeman was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle here on Sunday.

According to police sources, deceased was identified as SI Rana Muhammad Tariq. The police registered a case against the van driver van, which was on the way from Burewala to Arifwala.
