LAHORE - World's leading Test wicket-taker Muttiah Muralitharan on Saturday crossed the 500-wicket mark in the shorter version of the game when he claimed two wickets against Pakistan in the third and final one-day international. Muralitharan has become only the second bowler to cross the 500-mark in ODIs. He now requires three more wickets to leave behind former Pakistan pace bowler Wasim Akram's tally of 502.The 36-year-old Muralitharan is already the world's top wicket-taker in Test cricket with 769 in 125 Tests.Muralitharan has 10 times taken five wickets in a match in a 323-match career.
