ISLAMABAD (APP) - A sub-committee of Senate Standing Committee on Petroleum and Natural Resources will review and discuss the Iran-Pakistan-India Gas pipeline project on January 26. The meeting to be headed by Senator Talha Mehmood would discuss the status of the project and the issues still remained unsettled with Iran in this regard and causing delay in execution of the project. The Chairman of the Committee Talha Mehmood has opened the meeting for the media. Senator Talha said the project would enable the country to meet the increasing demand of gas. He noted that due to loadshedding of gas the industrial sector is suffering and affecting the country's economy.
