KARACHI - The police have registered two separate cases against unidentified persons for planting bombs near the China Consulate on Monday. A Ranger personnel and another person were injured when a bomb planted on a motorcycle exploded with a loud bang near China Consulate in old Clifton area within the limits of Boat Basin police station on Monday early afternoon. On the same day, the bomb disposal squad defused another bomb planted on a motorcycle also near the Chinese Consulate on Monday night. Police have registered cases of both incidents and also have detained the motorcycle owner and the showroom owner and initiated further investigation. Both the cases were registered with Boat Basin police station and unidentified persons were nominated in the cases. Both the cases were registered on behalf of the state and the cases were registered under the terrorism acts.
