LAHORE – A Punjab Text Book Board (PTBB) spokesperson said on Tuesday that the board had started preparation of textbooks for the educational year 2013-14 in order to provide books to 63,000 public sector schools in a timely manner.

The spokesperson said in a statement that subject specialists of the board were reviewing books since last year, so that the new books could be error free. He said the board would fix special security labels in order to avoid fake books. For this purpose, special teams had been established that will inspect markets across the province, he added.
