TOBA TEK SINGH - The local administration was creating hurdles in public meeting of labourers which was scheduled for Saturday (tomorrow) at Faisalabad. The Labour Party Pakistan (LPP) organised a protested rally to condemn sentences announced by Anti-Terrorism Court to six labours leaders of Faisalabad. This was blamed here by Labour Party Pakistan (LPP) Kamalia Chapter General Secretary Muhammad Nawab, Labour Qaumi Movement leader Malik Abdul Majeed, LPP District Women Wing Secretary Ms Salama Habib and Bhatta Mazdoor Union President Riaz Mushtaq in a press conference on Thursday. They claimed that LPP District Secretary Tariq Mahmood who was on bail in a case registered against him under MPO Section 16 by the Saddar Police. But when he appeared in court, his bail was cancelled. Following protest of the labourers, the honourable court again released him on bail after five hours, they added.
