OUR STAFF REPORTER SADIQABAD - Four bikes were snatched by armed robbers in separate incidents in district Rahim Yar Khan on Thursday. The first incident took place in village Khokhran. Jamil Ahmad was on his way to Mond Minz by riding a motorbike worth Rs65,000. Meanwhile, three armed men robbed his bike on gunpoint. In the second incident, Muhammad Siddique, a resident of Sehja, was deprived of his motorcycle when he reached Lashkari Phatak by four robbers as he was going to purchase vegetables. Likewise, Muhammad Zishan, a resident of Gulshan Usman, was intercepted by armed men near village Wahid Bakhsh by dacoits when he was on his way to tehsil Sadiqabad from Rahim Yar Khan. The robbers made off with the bike of Zishan who is an employee of Fatima Fertilisers. Later, the victim was tipped off that his bike was snatched allegedly by Wazir, Munir, Shahid, Iqbal and Nadeem. When the accused contacted, they demanded Rs 8,000 for returning the bike but later refused to return it despite receiving the demanded amount. In the fourth incident, a motorcycle parked outside a landlords house was stolen. Muhammad Boota, a resident of village Pir Abdul Malik, informed the police that he went to his fields on his bike, parked it and went to visit his fields. When he returned he found it disappeared.
