Meanwhile, the IG Police has suspended SDPO Pindi Bhattian Muhammad Akram for his ill-planning during the shootout with the outlaw Haji Sajjad alias Samma who all alone fought with the police contingent and killed three daring and experienced cops and injured seven others and also succeeded in fleeing the place of occurrence by taking along Zafar Gondal SHO Jalalpur Bhattian as protective shield on a bike of a villager.

However, abducted Zafar Gondal was set on liberty by the desperado Saturday night.  The police have registered a case U/S 302/324 PPC against the PO Haji Sajjad alias Samma, his brother Ejaz Ahmad, Ali Raza, Intisar alias Saroo and Faisal alias Faisli but the police have so far failed to arrest any of the nominated accused.

It was surprising that police intentionally or unintentionally has ignored to include section 365 or 366 PPC (abduction of Zafar Gondal SHO Jalalpur Bhattian) while registering the FIR.

According to hospital sources, all the seven cops were progressing satisfactorily in Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian and Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
