ISLAMABAD - Central Information Secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Shireen Mazari, has expressed surprise at the Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid’s strange outburst against Imran Khan and said that the minister seems to have lost his senses after being unnerved by the success of the PTI’s call for NATO supplies blockade.

Mazari said that his accusatory tirade against Khan, who is not only leader of the second largest party in the country but also parliamentary leader of his party, is not only unethical but also breach of privilege of a member of Parliament - issuing threats without provocation or substance.

She pointed out that ironically Imran Khan is acting on policies that the PML-N had also committed during the 2013 general elections as reflected in the repeated promises by the Sharifs to halt drones.

Unlike PTI, the PML-N seems to have silently backtracked on all its electoral commitments, which has now pushed Pervaiz Rasheed over the edge. “We hope and pray he recover his equilibrium and sanity as soon as possible,” Mazari concluded.

PTI MOVE TO DAMAGE

ECONOMY: PML-N

Staff Reporter from Karachi adds: PML-N Sindh leader Ali Akbar Gujjar has said that PTI’s halting of NATO supplies would damage the country’s economy and will be a threat to the national security.

In a statement here on Sunday, Gujjar said that PTI was staging a drama to befool the masses and want to regain its declining position by staging protests and halting the NATO supplies.

He said the politics of the PTI would affect Pakistan and Afghanistan relations while damaging the country’s economy.

He said that in the current situation Pakistan should play its role in providing exit to the NATO forces from the region and their departure would stable the situation in the Pakistan and its neighboring countries.

He further said that PTI should focus on KPK provincial government and work for the people of the KPK province.
