ISLAMABAD- National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) today notified an increase of Rs 0.43 per unit in power tariff under monthly fuel adjustment mechanism.

The regulator had allowed the companies to raise tariff by Rs 2.24 per unit. 

The increase in tariff was allowed to recover the additional cost.

Lifeline consumers who consume up to 50 units per month and consumers of K-Electric would not be affected by the tariff revision.
