At least four people including a passerby sustained bullet injures during exchange of firing between two rival groups here at District Courts on Monday.

As per details, scores of people of Gujjar and Bhatti groups reached outside the Sessions Court for the hearing of a case. As soon as they came across, they attacked and opened firing. Resultantly a stampede occurred and people run for saving their lives while four people identified as Ishaq, Zulfiqar, Alamgir and Dastgir received bullet wounds. The police have claimed to arrest two accused from the spot. The mishap has been happened due to alleged negligence of the police for not taking precautionary measure despite having knowledge of the rivalry between the two groups.
