Two cruel brothers shot dead their parents and two sisters while a woman and her two daughters were killed in a road accident here on Motorway on Monday.

According to details, in Gujranwala, two cruel brothers gunned down their parents and two sisters for a property dispute here on Monday. According to details, Riasat Ali, a resident of Talwandi Khajoor Wali along with his wife Hafeeza, daughters - Qamer and Munawara was in his house early Monday morning. In the meanwhile, their two sons along with their accomplice(s) entered the house and opened fire on them. Resultantly Riasat, his wife Hafeeza and daughter Qamer died on the spot while Munawara sustained critical wounds. However, she also breathed her last on the way to hospital. The Cantt Police have registered a case and started investigation. It has been learnt that the gruesome incident took place over a land dispute.

In Chakwal, four passengers including a woman and her two daughters died while two others sustained critical injuries when a speeding truck hit a taxicab near Balkasar Interchange on Monday.

The incident took place in the limits of Kalar Kahar Police. Those who were killed in the mishap were identified as 25-year-old Robina Bibi, her daughters 12-year-old Alvina, four-year-old Aliza and 23-year-old Iftikhar while 12-year-old Danish and 26-Khalid got inuries. According to rescue and police sources, the dead bodies and injured were shifted to nearby hospital.

According to police, a taxicab (SLD-9700) with seven people onboard, three of them belonged to a same family, was coming to Rawalpindi when a speeding truck (LRD-4486) hit it from the rear, killing four passengers on the spot and injuring two others. Rescue and locals conducted rescue operation by shifting the dead bodies and injured to nearby hospital, police added. However, the driver of the truck managed to escape from the scene and police started searching him after filing a case.
