LAHORE - The PTI Punjab chapter held separate functions to celebrate the 138th birthday of Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam, in the provincial capital on Thursday.

PTI Punjab president Ijaz Chaudhary, Dr Yasmin Rashid, Shahzad Malik, Rai Hassan Nawaz and others held a seminar followed by special prayer for Quaid-e-Azam at party’s provincial secretariat.

The PTI also held a seminar at Lahore Press Club in this regard. The party leaders who organised the event include Naeem Mir, Naeemul Haq, Murad Raas, Yasir Gilani, Sadia Sohail, Waleed Iqbal and others.

The speakers addressing the participants on these occasions said that there was a dire need to transform Pakistan into state as envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam.

They said that Quaid dreamt about a Pakistan, which follows the principles of equality, justice and protection of rights of all segments living in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

They claimed that they along with party chief Imran Khan were struggling to transform Pakistan into a state as envisioned by its founder.

Condemning the extremism in all its manifestations, they claimed that religious entities had played a major role in creating divisions among the society resultantly dividing the nation.

Special prayers were also offered by the PTI leaders and workers for Quaid-e-Azam.
