LAHORE - PPP MPA Sajida Mir has demanded of impartial inquiry into the incident of a nurse who committed suicide along with her four children in the City here on Friday over a domestic dispute. Sajida Mir said it was a sad incident, which claimed four lives. She demanded that the Punjab government should hand over the case to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Inter Services Intelligence or Military Intelligence (MI). Talking to The Nation, Sajida Mir said there must be a serious problem, which forced a mother to take such step. She said no doubt Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and Sasti Rooti schemes are praise worthy, but the government should establish a separate ministry, which must collect the data of those the poor who commit suicides owing to hunger so that govt can support them.
