LAHORE - A petition has been moved in Lahore Registry of the Supreme Court seeking disqualification of five women MPAs of PML-N on basis of their bogus BA degrees. Petitioner Rabiya Ashraf has challenged the order of Lahore High Court, which dismissed her petition against the female MPAs. The petitioner alleged MPAs Raheela Khadim Hussain, Saima Mahiuddin, Mehmooda Sahi, Farrah Deeba and Shagufta Sheikh had submitted fake BA degrees to the Election Commission. Rabiya Ashraf contended that LHC dismissed her petitions against the 5 women MPAs without meeting requirements of the justice. She said LHC did not even sought record of the universities concerned to check their degrees and dismissed her petitions in haste. Now the petitioner has moved the SC against order of Justice Umar Ata Bandial of the LHC who had held the petitioner had failed to produce the documentary evidence or any other proof to establish her point. Moving the SC the petitioner has requested to disqualify the women MPAs as they were elected on reserved seats with PML-N tickets after submitting fake degrees. She also requested the court to restrain the respondents from joining the assembly session until the disposal of her petition.
