Pakistan Ambassador in US, Hussain Haqqani has said that Pakistan didn't want war, but in view of the increasing dangers from the eastern border, it was required to remain ready. In an interview to the US TV, Hussain Haqqani said that Pakistan was working in accordance with the international expectations, but there was no justification of issuing threatening statements against Pakistan. Hussain Haqqani said that if the evidence of any one's involvement in Mumbai attack found, then Pakistan itself would take action in accordance with the country's laws. He said that both the countries should refrain from hurling blames against each other and should work together for wiping out terrorism so that Mumbai attacks like incidents do not take place in future. Hussain Haqqani said that the democratic countries do not fight and he hoped that joint efforts would be made in war against terrorism.
