LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday said that different projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were moving towards completion rapidly.

The Chief Minister was talking to Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch, who called on him at here at the Chief Minister House.

He said that Pakistan’s future would be revolutionized after completion of the $46 billion projects under CPEC. A new era of progress had begun under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, he added.

The Chief Minister said that the CPEC would be a game changer for Pakistan.

Today, he said, Pakistan was more secure and economically stable than 2013. “Unjust criticism on the government’s welfare projects was aimed at discouraging investment for common people’s well-being,” he added.
