ISLAMABAD - Bangladesh and Maldives Volleyball teams arrived here on Monday to take part in the upcoming 2010 World Cup Volleyball Qualification Tournament, which will be kicked off from Wednesday (tomorrow) at Laiquart Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex. According to Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) Secretary Major (R) Muhammad Afzal that host Pakistan would be joined by Bangladesh, Maldives and Macau in the three-day international fixture. However, Bangladesh and Maldives Volleyball teams landed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad last night. He said that PVF had finalised all arrangement to ensure a successful end of the championship while tournament technical and officials meeting will be held on Tuesday (Today) at the same venue. He added that chairman organising committee Choudhry Muhammad Yaqoob, technical head Songsak Chareonpong, W. Theenanon, Najam-ul-Hasan Saqib, Wajid Kamal, Sajjad Hussain Bhatti, Orangzaib, Munir Ahmed, Ahmed Sher, Muhammad Furqan, Ubaidullah Shah and Major (r) Muhammad Afzal would attend the meeting.
