RAWALPINDI - Four robbers looted Rs 4.2 million from Summit Bank branch located at Gulshan Dadan Khan, Shamasabad, in broad daylight on Friday.

Meanwhile, armed dacoits deprived citizens of cash, gold, mobile phones and other valuables while auto-theft gang lifted two vehicles and four motorcycles from different localities of the city.

In the first incident, police said that four unknown robbers arrived at Summit Bank on a silver coloured car at 10:30am. Two robbers entered the bank and made the entire staff and people hostage at gunpoint whereas the remaining two overwhelmed the two security guards performing duty on the entrance of the bank. Later, they colleted Rs 4.2 million and fled from the scene, police added.
