PARACHINAR - Twelve abductees out of the total 45, who had been kidnapped by militants in Kurram Agency, were recovered on Saturday sources said. The sources added that women and children were among the recovered persons. Gunmen kidnapped 45 people from Bagan area of the agency when they were on their travelling in their vehicles from Tehsil Tal of Hangu to Parachinar, the headquarters of Kurram agency. In the incident, 13 people, including women and children, were killed, who were later buried in their respective villages in the agency, the source said, adding that it was not confirmed that whether these people were recovered by the political administration of the agency or the militants set them free by their own. However, it was reportedly said that the political administration formed a raiding party which raided in Bagan area and recovered 12 people, adding for the safe recovery of the remaining kidnapped persons efforts were underway and it was expected that they might be released soon from the captivity of the kidnappers.
