ISLAMABAD Parliamentary Leader of PML-Q in the National Assembly Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat has said that it was a setback to the government as the PML-Q has refused to foster any political alliance with it. Talking to media persons at the premises of the Supreme Court building on Tuesday, Faisal said that PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahis meeting with Law Minister Babar Awan was just a gossip on a cup of tea and nothing else. The PPP is a sinking boat, how is it possible for us to make an alliance with it. It would be a political suicide, he said, adding that even the incumbent governments allies are set to leave it. He said that the PPP is lacking any political agenda and principles and is indulged in loot and plunder. I have contacted Chaudries of Gujrat last night and enquired about their meeting with Law Minister Babar Awan and they told me that it was just a 'gup shup meeting on a cup of tea and nothing more, Faisal informed. He said that they would not strike any deal with the PPP as they have charge-sheeted it in the apex court on the issue of Rental Power Projects, which caused billions of rupees to the national exchequer. He further said that the PML-N is extending support to the PML-Q for unveiling the corruption and loot and plunder of the present government. He said that the recent US Strategic Dialogue with Pakistan remained failed as he claimed that the US earlier pledge to provide Rs 2 billion for Pakistani forces will be received after 2012. We use to approach the US for aid like servants, Faisal said. He said the people would decide the fate of the PPP in next general elections.
