RAWALPINDI - The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi Number 3 asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to form a judicial commission and send it to India to record the statements of the investigating officers and doctors who took initial statements of the assailants and provided medical treatment to the injured persons in Mumbai attack. ATC No 3 Judge Shahid Raffique announced this verdict after both the counsels completed their arguments about FIAs plea during an in-camera trial of Mumbai attack held at Adyala Jail. FIA had filed a plea seeking formation of judicial commission which will visit India to probe Mumbai attack case while the court on August 13, 2011 had reserved its judgment for August 27, 2011. Meanwhile, ATC No 3 recorded the statements of three more witnesses against the accused arrested in Pakistan in connection with Mumbai attack. These seven accused include Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Shahid Jamil Riaz, Hamad Amin Sadiq, Abdul Wajid, Muhammad Younis Anjum, Jamil Ahmed and Mazhar Iqbal. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 10, 2011.
