ISLAMABAD  - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has issued a notification for increase in power tariff of KESC by Rs1.60 per unit on account of fuel price adjustment charges.NEPRA officials told that power tariff has been increased under the fuel adjustment charges for the months of Jan, Feb and March. According to notification, Karachi Electric Supply Company KESC would collect Rs1.40 per unit under the fuel adjustment for the month of January.In second notification, NEPRA has allowed the KESC to collect four paisas per unit under fuel adjustment charges of February in the bills of August. According to the third notification, which was issued here on Friday, consumers of KESC would pay extra Rs 1.60 per unit for the month of March and these would be collected in the electricity bills of September.
