LAHORE – National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) awarded certificates and stipends to 121 successful young engineers of various leading universities under one month internship training programme.

NTDCL Managing Director Naveed Ismail distributed the certificates among the internees at Wapda House on Friday. Addressing the gathering, Naveed Ismail stressed upon the phases of learning and said process of learning should continue through education, academics and researches with an aim to enhance growth, technical and managerial skills.

“NTDCL is back bone of power sector of the country and is providing great opportunities of learning regarding power planning, designing and construction of grid stations, transmission line and system protection”, he added.

Naveed Ismail advised the internees that they should pick a industry, which had sustainable growth including power and energy sector, oil and gas.

The NTDCL MD said company would revamp the internship programme with more focus and objectivity and examination would be held to check the learning abilities of students.
