LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has welcomed the statements of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Ch Pervez Elahi on resumption of Pakistan-India bilateral cricketing ties.

Mian Nawaz Sharif, himself an ardent cricket follower, has been reported in the media saying that the resumption of cricketing ties between Pakistan and India is a positive sign and will help improve the relation between both the countries.

Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has also welcomed the development and lauded the efforts of Pakistan Cricket Board in this regard.

PCB GM media Nadeem, in a statement, said: “The improvement of relations between PCB and all other boards have been on top priority of PCB chief Zaka Ashraf since he assumed the office last year. It is due to his consistence efforts that this series could be materialized.”

Meanwhile, PCB has hired the services of Angela Marie Sadiqua, wife of a Pakistani national, a Clinical Nutritionist and Weight Loss Councilor here at the at National Cricket Academy.

Angela has delivered a lecture to Lahore-based national players and NCA coaching and supporting staff. She will talk to each player regarding their life style, eating habits and weight loss. She will deliver lectures and monitor u-19 players, u-16 players, academy players and women teams as well.
