Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that the federation being center of the country should be impartial and equally distribute resources among the provinces but it had adopted discriminatory attitude towards Punjab due to differences with the ruling party of the province.

He said this while chairing a meeting of the officials of various district departments in the camp office installed outside Jinnah Stadium Okara on Saturday.

The chief minister blamed that the federation assumes all the resources itself but when comes the turn of crises, it shifts to all the provinces.

Shahbaz claimed that if the federation distributes resources on equality basis there would be no crisis or confrontation among the provinces and all would get their due share.

He said that the ongoing loadshedding problem across the country is the outcome of criminal negligence of the federal government due to which masses have to suffer a lot.

Prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding has deprived the citizens of two time meal. Industrialists and investors were shifting their business to other countries owing to energy crisis which would further enhance unemployment, he added.

Shahbaz said that the PML-N led provincial government is utilising all available resources to overcome energy crisis and soon people of the entire province would get relief in this regard.
