KARACHI  - On behalf of the Government of United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Consul General of UAE in Karachi, Suhail Bin Matar Al-Ketbi, presented food item to be distributed among the poor and the needy families in Pakistan during the holy month of Ramazan.A statement here on Friday said that as every year the Government of United Arab Emirates along with its citizens, sends charity for the poor families as a goodwill gesture.Special thank was extended to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan’s Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan’s Foundation who have contributed immensely in this aid which will cover more than two hundred thousand families across Sindh.Other than food stuff the Government of United Arab Emirates under the title of UAE Pakistan Assistance Programme is helping in infrastructural development and rehabilitation programmes across the country, specially in the Northern Areas which were badly effected by the earthquakes, the statement added.
