Islamabad - Secretariat police have arrested seven Pakistani nationals over submitting fake documents to the Chinese embassy here in Islamabad during the last three days.

According to details, Secretariat police arrested two Pakistani nationals, Muhammad Rizwan and Waseem, on March 24 as they submitted fake documents to the Chinese embassy.

They had applied for visa for China but their documents were found bogus. On March 26, the police arrested five more cheats who were attempting to get Chinese visa on the basis of fake documents. They include Touqeer Ahmad, Abdul Waheed, Muhammad Irfan, Tariq Hassan and Naveed Anjum.

The police have registered two separate cases under section 420, 468 and 471 of the PPC on the complaint of a Chinese embassy official.
