LAHORE - The Lahore High Court Friday snubbed the Nishter Town SHO for not producing 10 suspects detained for lynching two men outside Youhanaabad in retaliation for suicide attacks on churches.

As the proceedings commenced, SHO Ahsanullah appeared in the courtroom and said that the men discussed in the petition were not in his custody.

However, Justice Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa expressed dissatisfaction over his statement and summoned SP Investigation on March 30.

MA Joseph and others had filed the petitions submitting that the police took their family members in custody without any evidence and denied access to them.

The petitioner stated the police did not produce the arrested men before any court of law.

Meanwhile, another victim of Youhanabad suicide attack succumbed to injuriesincreasing the death toll to 20, police officials confirmed.

Shamim Masih, who received severe injuries during suicide attack two weeks ago and was under treatment in General Hospital, breathed his last on Friday. His condition was critical and was kept in ICU.

Police said that there were nine more injured in the hospital out of whom condition of two was stated to be critical.
