ISLAMABAD - Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said the conversation between Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan and MNA Arif Alvi has exposed the reality of sit-in.

Pervez Rasheed stated this while reacting to Imran Khan's media talks here on Friday. He said the audio tape also vindicated the allegations leveled by former PTI leader Javed Hashmi. He said that PTI wanted to grab power through illegal means.

The minister said that Imran khan introduced the politics of confrontation and chaos. He said the conversation also exposed the dual face of Imran Khan who promised the nation not to tell lie.

He said that Imran Khan is not aware of the country's foreign policy and he should avoid giving the sleeping statements on sensitive national issues. He said that PTI chairman should follow decent politics line and keep in mind that present parliament is not fake. Earlier addressing the concluding ceremony of a four day training workshop at Sihala Police Academy in Islamabad, the minister said operation against terrorists is continuing without any discrimination and Pakistan has no option but to root out terrorism at all costs.

He said terrorism is an international phenomenon and collective efforts are required to wipe out this menace. He pointed out that the terrorists are trying to find new places of refuge after their hideouts were dismantled to a great deal in Afghanistan. He said Pakistan's cooperation in this regard has widely been acknowledged by the United States and Afghanistan.

The minister appreciated the sacrifices rendered by the police personnel in the war on terror and the government will always support the victims' families.
