PESHAWAR - The Intelligence agencies foiled a terrorism plot designed to wreak havoc in the provincial capital on Friday. As many as 6 suicide jackets were recovered while in another raid 2 members of the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Islam were apprehended. According to media reports, the security forces acting on intelligence agencies reports of suicide bombers entering Peshawar and nearby areas conducted a raid in area of Bara Shlobar, Hayabatabad.

During the course of operation, 6 suicide jackets were recovered on site while in another operation conducted by security forces , 2 terrorists, Muhammadullah alias Yousuf and Akram were apprehended.

The arrested terrorists belong to banned outfit, Lashkar-e-Islam.
