KARACHI: To accelerate the rice export from Pakistan to China, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has arranged a B2B meeting between Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan and Guangdong Grain Association of China.   

In a recent visit to Karachi, ten members delegation of Guangdong Grain Association from China met with representatives REAP. During the meeting, held at TDAP headquarter, issues related to export of rice from Pakistan to China were discussed and possible solutions were presented. In a successful meeting, Chinese delegates have made trade agreement for import of 1500 MT rice from Pakistan to China.

Earlier on 23rd March, Chinese delegation also visited a rice processing factory in Karachi; which was jointly arranged by TDAP and Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan.  

Chinese delegates have shown their satisfaction over the standard and quality of the processing factory. The delegation will also visit Lahore and Islamabad during their visit.
