Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has failed to provide any relief to the people during its first one hundred days and the people, who voted for the party with great expectations, were extremely disappointed.

Talking to the media at Kot Addu in district Muzaffargarh on Wednesday, Siraj said that PTI had come to power with tall claims of change the fortune of the country and the masses and, within its first one hundred days, the government has not made any progress in any direction and the tale of its failures was on every one’s lips.

He said that the raise in the electricity tariff was not acceptable and the government should withdraw it. He said that it had taken the previous government three to four years to reach the mark of unpopularity, which PTI has crossed within first three months.

He further said that the PM had promised building Pakistan on the model of the state of Madina but not a single step had been taken in this direction. Siraj further said that the party, which promised to contain dollar, had only carried the currency to its new heights. Due to the wrong economic policies of the government, the stock market was continuously in bad shape and the investors had suffered heavily.
