ISLAMABAD(APP) - The selection of medical mission and Khuddam ul Hajaj to facilitate Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah during forthcoming Haj has been completed, Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Zakat and Ushr, Naguib Ullah Malik said. Talking to this Agency, he said that merit and transparency has been ensured in the selection process of Khudam ul Hajjaj (volunteers) and medical mission, adding, they will be sent to Saudi Arabia and deployed there before start of pre-Hajj flight operation. The Ministry selects 230 Khudam-ul-Hujjaj and deploy them at Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah to facilitate the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. A 270-member medical mission, comprising doctors and paramedics, is selected to provide medical facilities to the pilgrims. A hospital and about eight dispensaries are set up in Makkah and Madinah to provide medical treatment to Pakistani pilgrims during Haj season.
