KARACHI - PPP Sindh ministers have submitted their salaries in speaker National Assembly fund for the rehabilitation of victims of Fata people, The Nation has learnt it here on Saturday. PPP minister in Sindh government, Agha Siraj Durrani and other ministers have submit their salaries in the fund to rehabilitate the victims of Bajaur Agency and tribal areas. Large number of people from the tribal belt, after Pakistan Army had launched operation and US air strikes, have fled to Karachi and in safe areas of Peshawar and most of them were women and children. A large number of MNAs had already submitted donations in the fund. PM Yousaf Raza Gilani and MQM chief Altaf Hussain have also submitted donation to rehabilitate victims of tribal belts. According to survey published in different newspapers that due to the US strikes on our borders and the army's operation, 2,000 civilians had been died in 2007 alone. About 800,000 have been displaced in the Northern Areas. Dr Fehmida had already visited camps set-up for displaced people and distributed funds among them. Sindh government had already sent relief goods to NWFP government to help the victims of displaced tribal people.
