NEW YORK: Lindsay Lohan hopes to draw attention to her skills as an actress with her role in play Speed-the-Plow. The 28-year-old actress has relocated from New York to London for her debut theatre role in the West End production of Speed-the-Plow. The play is written by David Mamet and Lindsay takes on the role of Karen, a secretary to a rude producer. When asked what triggered her moving to the British capital for the job, Lindsay explained what she hopes will come of it. ‘I’m at a point when I want a diligent routine and I really want to get back into work,’ she told Time Out London. And I wanted to do something different: people have certain perceptions of me and I wanted to change them by doing something like a Mamet play. –BEL
