The Sialkot district police have arrested 31 accused kites flyers, sellers and buyers, during a crackdown launched against them by police in Sialkot district’s all the Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsil. Sialkot DPO Muhammad Gohar Nafees disclosed this while talking to the newsmen. Police have sent the accused behind bars after registering separate cases against them, he added.

REHABILITATION AFOOT: The repairing of the 40 flooded government school buildings is briskly underway in Pasrur tehsil. DCO Sialkot Iftikhar Ali Sahu reviewed the pace of this repairing and he directed the concerned officials to ensure the timely completion of this repairing work on priority. Assistant Commissioner Pasrur Touqeer Ilyas Cheema told the newsmen at Pasrur here that the buildings, especially boundary walls of as many as 40 different government primary, elementary and high schools in Pasrur tehsil were badly damaged by the recent flash floods.

Due to which the local students were suffering ordeal in getting education in these flooded school buildings.
