LAHORE - City District Government Lahore (CDGL) has completed target of vaccinating children up to five years in all union councils (UCs) of nine towns, here on Monday.

After the 3-day campaign from December 21-23, two more days were allocated as follow up for those children who were remained un-attended during the regular campaign.

District Coordination Officer Lahore Capt. (retd) Muhammad Usman paid surprise visits to inspect the performance of polio teams vaccinating children.

During the campaign, the CDGL had formed 4169 anti-polio teams to vaccinate as many as 1,570,000 children from the birth to five years of age in these union councils.
