LAHORE - Top seed Liu Tsz-Ling of Hong Kong won the $15,000 3rd Bahria Town International Women Squash Championship 2016, after surviving Egyptian Amina Yousry spirited challenge in the final played at Safari Club Bahria Town Rawalpindi squash courts on Sunday. Muhammad Ilyas, Vice Chief Executive Bahria Town was the chief guest on the occasion, while Sitwat Babar, PSF secretary Group Captain Amir Nawaz along with others was also present on the occasion.

Fresh from upsetting home-favourite Maria Toor in the semi-finals, Amina was not in a mood to go down without a fight, Amina as per expectations manage to win the first game 12-10, which left top seed Liu Tsz-Ling red-faced. She started second game with a different frame of mind and her strategy paid off as Liu won the second game 12-10. She was in dominating mood in the third game and took the game 11-7 and shut the door son Yousry by winning the 4th game 11-6 to clinch her maiden $15,000 WSA title in hard-fought 55 minutes.Liu received prize money of $2346 and beautiful trophy while Amina Yousry was awarded $ 1605 and runner up trophy.
