LAKKI MARWAT – On the request of Saifullah brothers, the quarters concerned of Wapda made functional the recently completed 132KV grid station in Darra Pezu Town to resolve electricity related problems faced by the area people.

This was stated by influential Saifullahs District Coordinator Ameer Mashal Khan in a chat with local journalists on Thursday. He said that to make the new grid station functional was a longstanding demand of the residents of Darra Pezu town and dozens of villages and hamlets. He said that Saifullah brothers had fulfilled promises they made with the residents of the district regarding setting up of grid stations.

He said that three 132KV grid stations one each in Naurang, Tajazai and Darra Pezu had resolved the problem of low voltage besides minimizing/reducing the duration of load shedding.

Mr Mashal said that area people had decided to observe thanks giving day to pay tribute and homage to Saifullah brothers for establishment of a grid station in Darra Pezu. 

“The residents of Pezu, Shahbazkhel, Wanda Sharbat, Wanda Jogi, Jhangkhel, Chuharkhel, Abdulkhel, Masha Mansoor, Umar Adda, Tabi Murad, Sherikhel and other rural localities took a sigh of relief with functioning of new grid station”, he maintained, assuring that Saifullah brothers will continue their struggle for installation of an additional 10/13MVA transformer in the grid station to enhance its capacity.

He called upon the people to strengthen the hands of Saifullah brothers as it would help to speed up the pace of uplift and development in the district.
