SOUTH WAZIRISTAN AGENCY – Cadet College Wana has completed its first academic year successfully.

The college students produced a remarkable result in class 9th examination held under Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Dera Ismail Khan. Principal Brig Nasir Saeed Khattak, Vice Principal Prof Inam Ullah Khan, faculty members and cadets of the college did their best to ensure smooth running of the new college. According to results, 45 cadets of class 9 secured A+ Grade while three cadets got A Grade in BISE DI Khan. The GPA of this excellent result is 5.93, which is a splendid result not only in the BISE DI Khan but can also be regarded a magnificent result compared to any other institution in KPK. This outstanding result in the board proved that in spite of its tender age Cadet College Wana is one of the elite institutions in KPK/ Fata that is imparting quality education to students.

Out of top 10 positions, Cadet College Wana secured 7th, 8th and 9th positions.

Habib Ullah, Inam Ullah, Atiq Ur Rehman, Qaiser Khan and Sher Zada secured prominent positions.

Cadet College Wana would maintain its grand achievements and would prosper by leaps and bounds. It would provide quality education and training to young cadets, with a view to nurture their knowledge, skills, personality and character to make them upright human beings, true Muslims and patriotic citizens, equipped to face challenges of life.

It is worth mentioning here that Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has really transformed the dream of modest tribesman of South Waziristan Agency into reality and have built Cadet College Wana, in order to eliminate the sense of deprivation and alienation among tribesman.

Cadet College Wana is although a newly established institution, yet it has the capacity to draw out the tribesmen from darkness into light, and will prove to be a source of advancement and prosperity for the tribesmen of South Waziristan Agency.
