LONDON - British police said they arrested two men Thursday on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism. The men, aged 32 and 18, were detained by officers from the counter-terrorism command at 7:00 am (0600 GMT) and are being held at a central London police station. "The men were arrested at separate residential addresses in east London. Both addresses are currently being searched under the Terrorism Act 2000," a Scotland Yard spokesman said. The London 2012 Olympic Games, centred around the Olympic Park in east London, are to open in just under a month's time on July 27.
